in front of P.Ramlee birthplace house
First of all congratulations to my brother n sis-in-law hj kudin n ka noor on the birth of their first baby boy named Noor Aiman Izzudin on the 24th Dec 2008.A day after my ehem ehem birthday.Up to now Haji Noor Kaseh n Hjh Rosnah has a total of 16 grandchildrens from 4 families.More to come inshaallah (we will have to wait for 7 of the sibling to get hitched too).
Where was i in December? Well i spend the whole month in Kuala Lumpur that include celebrating my sister Hjh Ehsan's birthday and mine.We took the opportunity also to visits other places like Penang and Melaka.Since my sister and brother-in-law is doing their studies over there for the next 3 years, i'm guessing i will be spending alot of my holidays over there and do the "cuti cuti malaysia".
We manage to go to Sunway Lagoon and A'famosa to appeased the kids swimming interests. If they had their own way they would like to swim everyday.Luckily at my sister's building there is a large swimming pool.
We also visited P.Ramlee birthplace while we were in Penang. It really was a honour to be in the midst of all the memorabilia. Some educational venue like the butterfly farm and snake temple were the choices of the kids to visit when we were there.
But the two favourite exercises that both loved by the young and the old is shopping and "jalan jalan cari makan".We shop everywhere but seems to be coming to Masjid India more often.Hmmm i wonder why? ( Its so obvious when you are a bruneian).
When it come to food, there is no stopping us.The likes of ikan bakar in Jln Bellamy, Sate Kajang Hj Shamsuri and Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa to name a few.The newly discovered Putu Bambu and the 1 foot subway sandwich makes my mouth waters just by mentioning it.
Pictures best describe the places we go and food we tasted. Many unskilled photographers contributed to this events but uploaded scattered all over the internet.Go to attahira, hjh amoy or nabilah on facebook or go to the family blog omar-aminah-family.blogspot
I babbled enough on this edition and hope with this new year the old bad habit will go away and lastly its not too late to wish everybody a Happy Maal Hijrah and a Happy new Year.
